Rastafarianism

Rastafarianism began with the black empowerment leader, Marcus Garvey, in Jamaica in 1930. Now there are about 1 million Rastafarians in the world. Around 5 thousand Rastafarians live in the UK.
Rastafarians believe that God knows all things and loves everyone and everything.  Most Rastafarians believe God lived on earth as the last emperor of Ethiopia, Haile Selassie the 1st.  They also believe that one day all black people will go to Ethiopia, the Promised Land.
