Tower Hamlets Inter Faith Week 18th – 22nd November 2007

A week of events celebrating the diversity of Faiths in Tower Hamlets.

Event: Free showing of ‘Kundun’ a film based on the life and writings of the Dalai Lama.
This will also include a short and informal pre-talk by a representative of the London Buddhist Centre.
There will be a short, informal introduction to the film by Jnanavaca, one of the Western Buddhist Order members from the London Buddhist Centre.

Open days at places of worship

Event: Launch of Continuing Professional Development training scheme for Faith Leaders. This is a national initiative which is being run by National Institute for Adult Continuing Education (NIACE). On completion of the course participants will receive an accredited qualification.
